Presented to the PSRC Transportation Demand Management Committee in early 2022, this analysis used household travel survey data and VMT records to examine how the pandemic reshaped travel patterns and how durable those changes appeared to be.

Key findings covered shifts in telework rates by race and gender, transit ridership decline, and the gap between reduced commute demand and aggregate VMT.
